- 3 -4 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2/3 cup vinegar
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 (1 lb) can green beans, drained
- 1 (1 lb) can wax bean, drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp; remove bacon and drain on paper towel.

2To drippings, add sugar and cornstarch.

3Blend well.

4Stir in salt, pepper and vinegar.

5Heat until mixture boils and thickens.

6Stir in onion and drained beans.

7Cover and simmer over low heat 20-25 minutes,stirring occasionally.

8Serve with bacon crumbled over top.
