Hot Chai Cider

  • 3 cups apple cider
  • 4 chai rooibos tea bags (labels removed)
  • 3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 2 apple slices
  • 2 shots dark rum

Directions

    In a medium saucepan, add the apple cider, tea bags, and orange juice. Give it a stir and bring to a boil over high heat.

    Once boiling, turn the heat down to low and let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes. Remove the tea bags, strain the cider (optional) into 2 mugs, then top each with an apple slice to make it look fancy. At this point you can drink it as is, or add a shot of rum to each mug because why not.
