- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. chopped green or red bell pepper
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 2 (6 oz.) cans minced clams (with juice)
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 lb. crumbled cooked bacon
Directions

1Saute 1 stick butter, onion, red and green bell pepper, minced garlic, juice of lemon, crushed red pepper, oregano, parsley flakes and 2 cans of minced clams with their juice.

2(Add crushed bacon, if desired.)

3Add bread crumbs to mixture and mix very well.

4Place mixture into an ovenproof dish.

5Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
