  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 c. chopped green or red bell pepper
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans minced clams (with juice)
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 lb. crumbled cooked bacon

Directions

    Saute 1 stick butter, onion, red and green bell pepper, minced garlic, juice of lemon, crushed red pepper, oregano, parsley flakes and 2 cans of minced clams with their juice.

    (Add crushed bacon, if desired.)

    Add bread crumbs to mixture and mix very well.

    Place mixture into an ovenproof dish.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
