Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 to 3 pears, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pkg. dried apricots
  • 1 box white seedless raisins
  • 2 cans pineapple chunks and juice
  • 20 to 24 oz. jar apple juice
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger or to taste
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar (more if sweeter taste is desired)
  • 1 small jar well-drained maraschino cherries for color (optional)

Directions

    Mix apple and pineapple juices.

    Add brown sugar and ginger. Add fruit; simmer until fruit is tender.
