- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
- 1 c. finely chopped pecans
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- hot fudge
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 9-inch square pan.

2Combine first five ingredients.

3Add milk and shortening.

4Mix well.

5Stir in pecans.

6Pour into pan.

7Sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar and cocoa.

8Pour 3/4 cup of hot water over the top.

9Bake for 45 minutes.

10Invert onto serving plate.

11Cut into squares.

12Spoon hot fudge over top and serve with whipped cream.
