  • 1 (20 oz.) can sliced pineapple, drained
  • 1 (29 oz.) can cling peach halves, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can apricot halves, drained
  • 1 (29 oz.) can pear halves, drained
  • 10 maraschino cherries, drained
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter or oleo, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Drain pineapple and reserve 2 1/2 tablespoons of juice.

    Put all fruit on paper towels so fruit is dry.

    Arrange pineapple, peaches, apricots and pears in 2-quart casserole, then top with cherries.
