  • 2 c. uncooked grits
  • 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar, grated
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 4 oz. chopped chilies
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped

Directions

    Cook grits according to package directions in 8 cups of water. Mix in other ingredients.

    Bake in 9 x 13-inch casserole at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Serves 14.

    Can be cut in half.
