Ingredients

  • 2 gal. tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 Tbsp. pickling spice, tied in bag
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. cider vinegar

Directions

    Boil together the first 3 ingredients until done.

    Drain in bag 1 hour or longer, then put through squeezer-strainer to remove seeds and skin.

    Add the remaining ingredients.

    Cook hard for 10 minutes, then can.
