  • 1/2 lb. dark brown sugar
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 3 sticks cinnamon
  • 10 whole cloves
  • nutmeg
  • allspice

    Heat cider; stir in brown sugar.

    Continue to simmer, stirring occasionally to dissolve sugar.

    Float orange slices on top.
