  • 18 hot banana peppers (both red and green)
  • 1 pt. dark cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pt. yellow mustard
  • 1 1/2 lb. brown sugar

    Grind and drain peppers.

    Combine all ingredients in large pot.

    Boil 20 minutes.

    Make a paste with 3/4 cup flour and the juice from the peppers.

    Add to the hot pepper mixture.

    Stir until thick.

    Pour into pint jars and seal.

    Yields 4 pints.
