Hot Pepper Pecans

  • large pecan halves
  • butter
  • soy sauce
  • salt
  • Tabasco sauce

Directions

    For each cup of large pecans, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in shallow pan.

    Spread evenly in bottom of pan.

    Bake at 300° for 30 minutes.

    Stir several times.

    Mix 2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 3 or 4 dashes of Tabasco sauce into the toasted nuts.

    Pack into jars with tight lids.

    Will keep 4 to 5 weeks if tightly covered.
