Hot Pepper Rings

Ingredients

  • 1 gal. hot peppers, sliced in rings
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 large bottle ketchup or 2 small
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Pour hot water over rings and let set for 4 or 5 minutes. Bring to a boil the oil, sugar, vinegar, ketchup and salt.

    Drain rings and add to boiled mixture.

    Bring to a boil again and place in jars and seal at once.
