  • 18 large green bell peppers
  • 9 hot red peppers
  • 9 cloves garlic
  • 9 tsp. dill seed
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 6 c. water

Directions

    Cut bell peppers into thin strips and pack into pint jars. In each jar, add one red pepper, 1 clove garlic and 1 teaspoon dill seed.

    Combine salt, vinegar and water. Bring to a boil and pour over peppers.

    Let stand a few weeks before serving.
