- 1/2 cube oleo
- 1 c. milk, divided
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. to 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 3 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Use 1/2 cup milk to melt oleo to scald.

2Cool slightly, then add to 1/2 cup milk and egg.

3Add sugar and salt; mix.

4Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

5Mix with milk and egg.

6Add 3 1/2 cups flour.

7Let rise in bowl until double.

8Roll out mixture on floured board until 1 1/2 inches thick.

9Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on cookie sheet and fold in half.

10Let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes.
