  • 2 cakes yeast
  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. soft shortening
  • 6 c. flour

Directions

    Mix sugar, shortening, water, yeast, salt and well beaten eggs.

    Mix well.

    Add 1 cup flour at a time, beating after each cup.

    Let rise and make into rolls and let rise again.
  5. 5
    Bake in 420° oven until brown.
