- cabbage
- 1 tsp. bacon fat
- sugar, salt and pepper to taste
- about 1 Tbsp. flour
- sweet or sour cream
- vinegar to taste (sweet pickle juice can be used)
Directions

1Slice cabbage as for slaw.

2Cook with bacon fat, sugar, salt and pepper until tender in a little water. Sprinkle with the flour.

3Add the cream and bring to a boil. Add a little vinegar to suit your taste. Good when served with corn oysters (fritters).
