Ingredients
- 1 (1 lb.) can each: peaches, pineapple, pears, apricots, pitted light sweet cherries
- 2 tart apples
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. each: ground nutmeg and cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 bananas, if desired
- green grapes, if desired
Directions

1Drain fruit.

2Reserve 1 1/2 cups syrup.

3Put drained fruit in 2 1/2-quart casserole.

4Core and dice apples and mix with lemon juice and then toss with rest of fruit.

5Stir together syrup, brown sugar and spices and pour over fruit.

6Dot with butter. Cover and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

7Add cut bananas and grapes.

8Bake 5 more minutes.
