- 2 lb. ground beef or hamburger
- 1 1/2 lb. pork sausage
- 4 lb. meal (self-rising)
- 1 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. chili powder or 2 large cans Mexene chili powder
- 1 bottle garlic salt
Directions

1Mix meal, salt, warm shortening and water to a thick dough. Mix sausage and ground beef together.

2Cut square cloths about 5-inch square; wet and spread on table.

3Pat a layer of dough real thin; flatten a ball of meat to cover dough.

4Sprinkle chili over meat; sprinkle garlic powder over chili.

5Roll up and tie each end and in the middle.

6Put into boiling water and boil for 1 hour.

7Makes 3 dozen.
