- 1 can Chickpeas (drained, reserved, and rinsed)
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 3 tbsp Tahini
- 2 clove minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin (or to taste)
Directions

1Add chickpeas to food processor or blender

2Add to chickpeas remainder of ingredients

3Puree as smooth as possible, add small amount of reserved liquid from can chickpeas as needed, to obtain creamy consistency (usually no more than 2-3 tablespoons)

4Can add roasted red pepper from jar or use black beans for different flavors.

5This is a base to be used for whatever you want to add for bigger flavor.

6Garnish with olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika and cumin.
