Ingredients

  • 6 c. garbanzo beans, drain and reserve liquid
  • 1 1/2 c. tahini (gourmet section)
  • 3/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper

Directions

    Put all ingredients in food processor and blend together.

    Add reserved liquid a little at a time to bring the hummus to a peanut butter state.

    Serve with warm pita bread.
