- 2 Tbsp. sesame seed
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 (19 oz.) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Directions

1In small skillet, gently shake sesame seed over low heat 5 minutes just until golden brown.

2In food processor, puree toasted sesame seed, garlic, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup oil until smooth. Add chickpeas, lemon juice and remaining 1/4 cup oil.

3Process until smooth.

4Stir in parsley.

5Serve with pita bread.
