- 1 can garbanzo beans, drained
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. tahini (crushed sesame seed)
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- water
Directions

1Place drained beans in blender.

2Add all other ingredients, then add enough water to almost cover beans.

3Blend until smooth. Pour into serving dish.

4Pour very thin layer of olive oil on top; sprinkle with parsley.

5Serve with pita bread.
