- 20 oz. chickpeas
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 2 Tbsp. grated ginger
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- chopped parsley or dill
- pita bread, cut in pieces
Directions

1Combine 1/2 of chickpeas in Cuisinart.

2Add all other ingredients except parsley.

3When pureed, add rest of chickpeas and mix until pureed.

4Stir in parsley, leaving a few tablespoons to sprinkle on top before serving.

5Serve with pita bread.
