- 1/2 lb. dry cottage cheese, pushed through a sieve
- 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
- 2 c. flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- Parmesan cheese, grated
Directions

1Combine cottage cheese, butter and flour into a smooth dough. Refrigerate 8 hours.

2Divide dough into 3 to 4 pieces.

3Roll each piece out to about 1/4-inch thick.

4Cut into sticks about 1/2-inch wide by 2 1/2-inches long.

5Put onto ungreased baking sheets. Brush tops with beaten egg.

6Sprinkle with generous coating of grated Parmesan cheese.

7Bake at 350° until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
