Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 medium sized potato
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Tear off a 14-inch length of aluminum foil.

    Place tablespoon of butter in center of foil.
  3. 3
    Slice onion, carrot and potato into one-quarter inch slices and arrange in center of foil.

    Salt and pepper lightly.

    Pat ground chuck into patty and place on top of vegetables.
  6. 6
    Seal foil tightly and bake for 30 minutes in a 350° oven or on campfire on hot coals.
