  • 5 lb. roast
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • salt and Accent
  • 1 c. beer
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. celery seed

Directions

    Sprinkle meat with salt and Accent.

    Mix other ingredients; pour over meat in pan.

    Cook at 300° to 350 for 3 to 4 hours, until meat is done and very tender.

    Add small amounts of water as necessary.

    Make gravy after removing meat.
