- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
- 4 c. cream (for my cream, I use 4 c. evaporated milk)
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 4 c. milk
- 4 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix sugar, flour and salt.

2Stir in milk.

3Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.

4Cover and continue cooking for 10 minutes.

5Stir a small amount of the hot milk into the beaten eggs, then stir into the remaining hot milk. Cook over hot, not boiling water, until mixture coats the spoon. Remove from hot water and chill.

6Add vanilla and cream, then your fruit or whatever flavor desired.
