- 1 c. flour (all-purpose)
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored.

2Gradually beat in sugar.

3Blend in water and vanilla.

4Sift dry ingredients together and slowly mix into egg mixture at low speed until batter is smooth.

5Grease a jelly roll pan and line with waxed paper.

6Pour batter in pan and bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.

7Loosen edges and turn upside down on towel that has been sprinkled with powdered sugar.

8Remove paper; roll up in towel.

9Let cool. Unroll and spread with 1 quart ice cream.

10Roll again; wrap in foil and freeze.

11Garnish with chocolate sauce or cherry.
