  • 1 c. shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. flour or less

Directions

    Mix first 8 ingredients together thoroughly. Add flour (part at a time) and form into rolls.

    Chill overnight.

    Slice and bake on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 325°.
