  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. lard
  • pinch of nutmeg and salt
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. nutmeats

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together (one at a time).

    Make dough in rolls.

    Cover with wax paper and chill.

    Slice, put on slightly greased cookie sheet and bake until lightly brown at 325° to 350°.
