- 1 c. butter or substitute
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs; mix well.

3Sift salt and soda into flour.

4Add nuts; add to first part and mix.

5Put dough on well floured board; knead until smooth.

6Roll into round roll of desired size; roll in wax paper.

7Place in refrigerator overnight.

8When ready to bake, slice very thin and bake in moderate oven (350°) until crisp.

9Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
