Ingredients

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. soft oleo
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves

Directions

    Cream together the sugars and oleo thoroughly.

    Add beaten eggs slowly to sugar mix.

    Add the nuts.
  4. 4
    Mix together the remaining ingredients and add to the sugar and egg mixture. Shape into 2 rolls and wrap in wax paper.

    Place in refrigerator overnight.

    (These rolls freeze very well.) Slice thin and bake on greased cookie sheet at 350° until golden.
