Ingredients

  • 1 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1 lb. seedless white raisins
  • 1 lb. shelled pecans
  • 1 lb. grated coconut (Baker's)
  • 1 lb. Ritz crackers
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 1 bag marshmallows
  • 1 large can Carnation milk

Directions

    Chop all ingredients very fine.

    Crush crackers and mix with fruit and nuts.

    Melt marshmallows, milk and margarine over low heat or in double boiler.

    Mix with fruit and crackers.

    Pack very tightly in a 9 x 12-inch casserole dish.

    Place in the refrigerator overnight.

    Fruitcake can be eaten the next day.

    Store in refrigerator.
