Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. hot water
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 4 to 5 c. flour

Directions

    Mix hot water, sugar, salt and oleo;

    let cool.

    Measure warm water in bowl and sprinkle in yeast;

    let dissolve.

    Add to first mixture.

    Add beaten egg.

    Add 1/2 of the flour, beating well. Add the rest of the flour.

    Knead just enough to shape the dough. Place in greased bowl and put in refrigerator overnight.

    Shape in rolls, letting them rise for 1 hour, approximately.

    Bake at 400° until done.
