  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 7 c. all-purpose flour
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1 yeast cake or pkg.

Directions

    Beat egg and sugar together.

    Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to egg and sugar.

    Add salt and 4 cups of flour.

    Stir with spoon.

    Add melted butter and stir.

    Add 3 cups of flour.

    Knead well.

    Let rise until size has doubled.

    Shape into rolls and let rolls rise about an hour.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Dough can be kept in refrigerator.
