- 1 piece fresh ginger root 3-4 inches peeled and grated
- 5 quarts water
- 2/3 cup maple syrup
- 4 mint sprigs
Directions

1Combine ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil.

2Simmer for 15 minutes, then remove from heat.

3When cooled, taste, and more water or syrup if desired.

4Remove mint and refrigerate.
