- 3/4 c. confectioners sugar

1Prepare sugar cookies.

2In clean mixer bowl, at high speed, beat egg white with lemon juice until frothy.

3Gradually beat in confectioners sugar.

4Beat mixture about 5 minutes or until very thick and white.

5Tint if desired with paste or liquid food coloring.

6Pipe or spread about 1 teaspoon icing onto each baked and cooled cookie.

7Let dry until hardened.
