- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. water
- 3/4 c. solid shortening
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. cold water
- 7 c. flour (self-rising)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup water.

2Bring margarine, water and shortening to boil and cool in large bowl.

3Mix eggs, sugar and 1 cup water.

4Combine 3 mixtures, then add 7 cups of flour.

5Mix and place in refrigerator until ready to use.

6Two to three hours before using, roll out on floured surface and cut out fairly thin. Brush with melted butter.

7Fold over and let rise until double in size and bake at 425° for 10 to 15 minutes.
