- 9 c. flour
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. lard or cooking oil
- 2 c. water
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Mix oil or melted lard, salt and yeast in large bowl.

3Add flour and water, a little at a time. Knead until dough is very smooth.

4Shape in ball and let rise. Cover with cloth in large greased bowl until doubled.

5Punch down dough and knead on floured board for at least 5 minutes.

6Shape into 4 balls.

7Place in greased pans.
-
8Cover and let rise for 20 to 30 minutes in warm place.

9Bake in 400° oven for 50 minutes.
