- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 c. water
- 2 tsp. curry
- 3/4 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 large potato, peeled and cubed
- 1 medium tomato, peeled and chopped
- 1 (17 oz.) can English peas, drained
- 1 c. water
- hot, cooked rice
Directions

1Cook ground beef and onion; drain.

2Combine next 8 ingredients and add to ground beef mixture; stir well.

3Stir in potato, tomato, peas and remaining water.

4Bring to a boil.

5Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 25 minutes.

6Serve over hot rice.
