- 1/3 c. molasses
- 1/3 c. corn meal
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1In a saucepan, combine milk and molasses.

2Stir in cornmeal; cook and stir until bubbly.

3Reduce heat; cook and stir for 10 minutes more.

4Remove from heat.

5Combine egg, sugar, oleo and rest of ingredients.

6Stir into hot mixture.

7Pour into a 1-quart casserole.

8Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 300°.
