- 13 cup corn meal
- 13 cup water
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 225 degrees (see note).

2In saucepan scald milk.

3Add the corn meal and water and cook for 3 minutes, or until thickened.

4Add remaining ingredients.

5Place in 2-quart baking dish and bake for 2 hours.

6If desired, serve with hard sauce.
