- 3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese at room temperature
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 24 paper cupcake liners
- 24 vanilla wafer cookies
- 1 can (1 lb. 5 oz.) cherry pie filling
Directions

1In mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until well blended, about 3 minutes.

2Add vanilla and eggs; continue to beat until blended.

3Place cupcake liners in cupcake pans.

4Place wafer cookies, flat side down, in cupcake liners.

5Fill liners with mixture to 1/4-inch from top.

6Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

7Do not overbake.

8Cool on rack.

9When cool, spoon cherry pie filling over tops.

10Refrigerate.

11Makes 24 cupcakes.
