Ingredients
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 c. raisins (soaked in hot water, then drained)
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. caraway seed
- 3 heaping tsp. baking powder
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. milk
- sugar and cinnamon (equal parts)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Mix flour, sugar, salt and butter with fingers.

3Add raisins, caraway seed and baking powder; mix again. Form a well in the mixture and pour eggs and milk into it.

4Fold until mixture is completely folded in.

5Pour into well-greased loaf pan.

6Sprinkle with equal parts of sugar and cinnamon.

7Bake for 1 hour.

8Cool for 30 minutes before removing from pan.
