  • 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. seedless raisins
  • 1/2 c. currants
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 to 3 Tbsp. caraway seed

Directions

    Soak raisins for a few minutes to plump them, then dredge them with 1/4 cup of the flour in the recipe.

    Mix all ingredients together with a little bit of love; bake in a greased Bundt pan at 350° about 45 minutes or until well done in the center.
