- 1 c. currants
- 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 lb. sugar
- 1 c. strong brewed tea
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. marmalade
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 lb. flour
Directions

1Steep currants, raisins and sugar in a cup of warm tea overnight.

2Next day, stir in egg, marmalade, allspice and flour. In a greased or lined baking tin, pour in mixture and top with a few knobs of butter and a sprinkle of sugar.

3Bake for 1 3/4 hours at 350°.
