- 1/2 cup self raising flour white
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup currants
- 2 ounces margarine melted
- 1 salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon seeds carroway
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F, prepare pans. Mix flours, salt, sugar & baking soda.

2Stir in seeds & currants. Beat egg, margarine & buttermilk. Mix dry mix into wet mix until just combined. Spoon into pans & bake for 15-20 mins.
