- 2 c. flour
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. sour milk
- 1 egg
Directions

1Sieve flour, salt and soda together in large bowl.

2Cut in margarine and rub in until like crumbs.

3Add sugar and enough milk to make a soft ball together with egg.

4Turn onto floured board and lightly knead a few times.

5Roll out and cut into round cakes or cut with round cookie cutter.

6Bake in hot oven (400°) for 15 minutes until risen and nicely brown.
