Ingredients
- 1 c. butter softened
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 2 c. C & H light brown sugar, divided
- 3 eggs, well-beaten
- 1/4 c. Gold Medal flour
- 2 c. C & H dark brown sugar
- 2 c. shredded coconut
- 2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. C & H powdered sugar, sifted
Directions

1Mix together butter, 2 c. sifted flour and 1 c. light brown sugar.

2Spread evenly in jellyroll pan and bake for 12 minutes at 350.

3Cool.

4Mix remaining ingredients, except powdered sugar and pour on cooled crust.

5Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes or until slightly set.

6Do not overbake.

7Cool thoroughly.

8When totally cool, sprinkle powdered sugar on top and cut into small squares.
