  • 4 lbs pitted cherries (2-3 cups=1 lb)
  • 2 12 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • water

    Add cherries to 3/4 cups of sugar and 1/3 cup water.

    Bring to boil and boil one minute.

    Add the rest of the sugar and corn starch, boil another minute.

    Put in sterilized jars.

    Process 10 minutes.
